chickens and mudpies.

twentysix.Sept

On what was supposed to be my chillout day, I had to go to Tampines to help Darren remove the camera form his new blackberry, so he could bring it to camp.

So I ended up at Tampines, and decided to chill at Starbucks while getting started on my University applications for US schools. Having not written much for the past one year has taken a toll on my ability to express myself. Thankfully, I continued to read books and articles, so I don't think I deproved that much... or at least I hope.

After all that was over, since Jerryl lives in Simei and is somehow never in camp, we had a hearty (see? I keep using the same word) dinner at BBQ Chicken. This seriously reminds me of NUSHS Boarding days, when we dined at West Coast Plaza.

When we just entered the restaurant, Jerryl decided to shamelessly ask for a Student Discount. When the woman said no, he said "but we're NSFs, like students"... and the woman relented!

Nachos add-on for the Student meal for only $3. Crazy huge portion, right?

Yes, that huge!

With my Korean Charbroiled.

I look stunningly kid-like again. Sigh, I need to get wrinkles or something, otherwise people don't believe I'm 19!

After dinner, we decided to head to NYDC for our dessert. Yummy!

Waitress was super slow with the bill.

I love NYDC for the desserts... for their main courses... not so much.

Excellent catch-up dinner. Now where are the other guys?
