It's bigpeck's birthday!
Reunion of the flatmates... We decided to have a wholesome day at the Marina Barrage flying kites. Youths are always on the computers and the mobile devices these days... we totally need more outdoor time!
AS USUAL, PEK YANG XUAN was the latest of all - seems like whenever I meet her, I have to wait at least 15 minutes for her glorious entrance.
What a good start... the kite's already dead!
While we were trying to start up our noob kite, there were some majestic ones flying around us...
That's me trying to tie the string and start the kite flying.
Struggling to get it going. The wind was kind of weak for a period of time.
Pek managed to get it up!
Once again reminded of the gorgeous skyline... Singapore is such a stunning metropolis!
All the hopes and dreams... fly free! #poeticattemptfail
Here's the other kite. Well, the kite kept swaying to the left, and we were wondering why. My conjecture was that it MUST BE THE EYE PATCH!!!
What in the world are they staring at?
Another octopus!
Stupid Darren take this picture without me looking at the camera!!!
It's pek's catchphrase!
With that, we ended up at Raffles City to have a healthy korean steamboat:
Bibigo! Customer service was EXCELLENT.
Darren and I shared this hotplate chicken... Yummy!
It was time to present her with the next gift...
I think this is the coolest gift idea ever! *self-praise*.
Since Pek loves playing cards so much... this is really the best gift!
I can't believe I've known Pek for about 10 years now. She's the main reason why I ended up in NUSHS instead of Dunman High School... She's always so bubbly, so optimistic, so hopeful, and with great aspirations to change the world!
Plus, rooming together in our flat in 2010 was one of the most fantastic experiences of my life :)
Happy 19th Pek, with many more to come!
